hola. another sock turns up

Well, it looks like a certain amount of settling in remains to be done. E.g., speaking of spelling, I've never been sure whether we're Sox or Socks, and lo, this blog hasn't yet resolved the question.

Nor this question: do we use this site to address each other, or The World? It will take some getting used to, this big breezy forum!

How public—like a frog—
To tell one’s name—the livelong June—
To an admiring Blog!

Friends, we may be lucky enough to have someone eavesdrop; that is something I think we could work toward: a conversation among people in a bar that others listen in on. It's up to us. There's no reason why this blog shouldn't be one that people seek out, for the poems posted here, the critiques, the conversation about poetry groups and how they work, about poetry group blogs and how they feel their way into a shape, shape-shifting as they go along. . .
Are poems on this site "unpublished"? Should we post our new, unfinsihed poems here? Could others plagiarize them? How do you feel about being read in transit, in the raw? What if yu later regret or change your mind about an opinion posted? Are these comments stuck for ever and ever in the Internet, coming back years hence to haunt us?
